Guys, I really can’t even explain the awesomeness that is Cookie Butter Pie. I mean, you already know how I feel about cookie butter (remember those delicious 3 Ingredient Cookie Butter Lacy Thins?) but this really takes it to another level. I suppose the only thing to do is let you oogle a little more.

Do you see how tall and proud this bad boy stands? It is a thing of beauty. And it could not be easier to throw together. It’s basically classic peanut butter pie (one of my all time favorite desserts) with a little twist. And that pretzel crust? Yammie’s Noshery is a total genius.

The pretzel sticks remind me of the James Town Fort I constructed in fourth grade using nothing but popsicle sticks, Elmer’s glue, and my wits. Let me just say a word about this Nutella Hot Fudge: make it
Douse the whole thing in this fudge, slurp it straight out of the pot, drizzle it over your favorite ice cream, stir it into warm milk to make the most decadent hot chocolate. Every scenario with Nutella Hot Fudge is a win, especially paired with all this cookie butter goodness. I promise.

COOKIE BUTTER PIE WITH NUTELLA HOT FUDGE AND PRETZEL CRUST
Adapted from Yammie’s Noshery
  • 3 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup cookie butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped (or an 8 oz. tub of Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream for topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 or 9-inch spring form pan. Combine the pretzel crumbs, butter, and sugar in the pie pan and press firmly to form the crust. Use the bottom of a cup to press the crust up the sides of the pan. You can also use a regular pie pan if you don’t have a spring form pan. cut the pretzels down to 2 cups and the butter and sugar down a tad, too. Bake the pretzel crust for 10 minutes and cool completely.
With a hand mixer or stand mixer, cream the cookie butter and cream cheese together. Add the vanilla and mix for another minute. Slowly add the powdered sugar and blend until incorporated. Fold in the whipped cream and pour cookie butter filling into the cooled pretzel crust. Spread the remaining 1/2 cup of whipped cream over the filling. Refrigerate (or freeze) until you are ready to serve. Drizzle pie with Nutella hot fudge (recipe below) and enjoy!
If you want to add a decorative pretzel stick boarder around the crust, just spackle the sticks on with some cookie butter. A super easy way to dress this pie up.
NUTELLA HOT FUDGE
Adapted from David Lebovitz
This fudge is over the top, decadent, and totally awesome. You will want to spoon it over pretty much everything and you will not be wrong.
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Over medium heat, whisk together water, sugar, and corn syrup. When the sugar has dissolved, add the Nutella and chocolate chips. Whisk until the Nutella and chocolate is completely melted. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Spoon cooled hot fudge over the cookie butter pie right before serving.
